3 Remaining Free Agents the Spurs Should Sign

The San Antonio Spurs are no doubt a playoff team entering the 2017 season. However, the rest of the Western Conference has bolstered up in order to compete with the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors.

In order for the Spurs to return to the Western Conference Championship, the Spurs will have to add some depth players.

Here are three free agents that the Spurs should sign this upcoming season.

3.Tony Allen

Tony Allen is a seasoned veteran who is not always the starting guy, but he has proven himself to be a very good depth player.

The Spurs will gladly bring in Allen, who at 35, can still put up points in the NBA. Just last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, Allen averaged 9.1 points, 5.8 total rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.

In order to compete with the Warriors, the Spurs will need as many quality depth players as possible. Allen would be a great addition.

2.JayMychal Green

JaMychal Green is only 27 years old, and has been on the upswing in his young career. Last season with the Grizzlies, Green averaged 8.9 points, 7.1 total rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

Green can give the Spurs great depth up front.

3.Andrew Bogut
Andrew Bogut did not have the best luck last season. After signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 2, Bogut broke his left leg four days later in his first minutes with the team.
Sure, Bogut is 32 years old, and has had a plethora of injuries throughout his career, but Bogut does bring a veteran presence up front at the center position.
Now, the Spurs could bring in Bogut on a cheap deal. He'd be worth the low risk.
